The pigeon was not one of the wild pigeons but a racing pigeon I think as he/ she was ringed. The same pigeon sat on the wall next to us when we stopped for a beer at the same bar 3 days running. The last day we were there it had gone, hopefully it had resumed its journey.

the other photo is of a gheko, similar to the lizard but with a smaller head. these were on our balcony and also try to go indoors, T hates them because they move so fast.
