As promised the spider.......

Gruesome but nature!! l think this spider is eating a grasshopper!!!
The fishes were at a garden centre in Newent Gloucs,Jean showed us the way, really good centre too:o)) amazing sizes some of them, massive. We were spell bound watching them, even had a snack sat at table right close to the pond:o)

If you look closely almost sitting on the window of the car is a bird, from here it loks like a parrot. l have tried to enlarge this aswell, hope it works:o)

Next is a Kestral and the last one is a flock of Starlings. We used to watch the Starlings on Hove seafront, flying round the olf pier and creating alsorts of patterns in the sky, then suddenlt settling down on the pier for the night:o)) amazing!!

my 3 happy cats - my big lad Buster weighs a stone and although he's lazy these days and just watches the birds he's actually quite muscly. The two little girls are Cindy (the black one) and Fanny (the tabby). These two can both be quite feisty ladies.

Lizzie....The photo in the middle reminds me of our old Smudge, bless her,she was 19 when she died a few yrs agao, such a softy:o)

The nest Ann of Glouc found.......

The name of the plant......

Jean of Monmouth thinks it is Flowering Nutmeg (its common name) Also known as Himalayan Honeysuckle or Pheasant Berry. That flower was originally planted in pheasant shoots to give the birds cover in the breeding season, because it spread like wildfire.

Yellow Thistles.......and ??

Anyone know what this is???? It self seeded last yr, very pretty flowers, its a shrub type thing and is now about 6ft high, l cut it right back last yr or early this yr. The branches are like bamboo:o))

Jessie the old and almost blind Leopard, we did'nt help with anything here, just watched. He's a beauty:o))



The female Asian Lion, who slurpt as she ate, making so much noise l asked if she had any teeth......l got laughed at!!! lol

The male Asian Lion who was so incharge, typical male!! but look how close l am, he was magnifico!! :o)))) We had total respect for both of them.
