And then Nutkin on her own. She's now 14yrs old and just like our old cat called Bounce:))

Our Granddaughters christmas card.

Made this card for Missy E.

The fabric is called Silk fabric, great fun to make, lsplit one of the tree's from the rest and then embroidered pink french knots and glued stars.

also made a funny little fairy to go at the top.

l'm quite chuffed with it:)

Madoc had just fallen in a massive puddle and had to swim, first time Vic has seen him do that, he usually only goes in about 4 - 6 "...he's a woos...lol

The Finished Stitch sample book....

Silk Paper.....

 Here is the piece l made last night, l used tiny threads from silk fabric, some are slightly heavier threads, and silver and gold thread, placed it on some netting (not net curtains), did a couple of layers,but it needs more, then added another piece of netting, brushed a diluted solution of water and pva glue, turn it over and brush more solution on, make it really wet, leave to dry....:))

The top 4 were done at the course, the same way l did it but we used a different solution, and l don't know what it is. If anyone tries this with PVA diluted, make sure you have more layers than l used, l just did'nt have much, and always make the first and last layers with silk!!

 These are just samples of stitches, more to add yet, then sew the book together.

l'm printing bits as well for samples of Indian & African Embroideries.

l think my subject for projects is going to be flowers not butterflies!!

Not at all good at Satin stitcj, not neat enough, wbut will practice:)

Also making notes of Tips l have found in books and Videos etc and we have to keep all practice pieces.....loads of them..lol

Update from my Garden,,,,,and Rosco..:)

 A Fir tree has grown in the top photo, Vic's been digging that out today:)

 l've done most of this area, Vic finished the bottom bit.

 l was here this morning.

This soppy dog ran to hide on Vics lap because l had the flea comb....this is Rosco...lol

A question for you??

ANYONE KNOW WHAT THESE ARE........inside is jelly and another round egg or ?? quite soft, found round the roots of very tall grasses that have brown fluffy flower thingies:)

 Top one....left side of greenhouse was chock-a-block, there's a path that leads from the back left, but no way through at the moment!!!

 This is the other end of path where its blocked!!

Large Nettles,other weeds and dead Yellow Thistle .

Same path from the lawn that was fairly clear, and my one Poppy:))

another one is nearly ready to open. Bit late though are'nt they??
