The Crows dinner??

This is the Pine cone the Crow had picked off the big fir tree. It was up there squawking its head off just now. The tree is heavily laden these cones, so someone won't go hungry:))

This Salmon was found by Vic the same time as the Swan, plus another salmon nearer the Swan. l know they die after spawning, but surely its abit late now?

And this Buzzard, he's often about but not this close:))

This Swan was found by Vic covered in blood, he phoned the rspca who came and
tried to catch it, but could'nt, they came all the way from Bridge End(sp) to Monmouth. The bird has since cleaned itself up and moved on. Vic kept watch over it for nearly a week and also kept in touch with rspca by mobile. One lass arrived from Newport to try to help, but again they could'nt reach. We can only hope its ok now??


This foal lives at stables near us and Vic passes then everyday. The owners daughters horse is about to foal too, can't wait:)



My favourite birds the Cormorant, we have approx 12 that roost on
the tree's along the banks of the RiverWye....every year they come back. l think
they are elegant birds and extremely clever especially since seeing that Chinese
fisherman that uses them to fish for him:)

This one is just gorgeous from Annx....

Oh my giddy aunt, just look at this baby Robin.
Annx says it would warm itself up on the gravel and how relieved they were when it eventually took off into the tree's....:)
